Pyramid chair
The pyramid chair is the fruit of a first-year project that introduced students to woodworking and the school workshops. Students were encouraged to explore the theme ‘to contain’.
Two opposing seats are mounted in a pyramid frame, inviting two people to have a conversation. The pyramid chair ‘contains’ in a double sense; not only flesh and blood, but words, an exchange of sentiment, perhaps even a declaration of love.
Collaborative project with Marte Guldvik.
