Student appartments

The site is adjacent to the gable of a late 19th century “unfinished” caret. The entrance and stair case of the new building is in the tall, narrow space between the two buildings, separating old and new by one hundred years, one meter and thirty centimeters.

Collective living raises some privacy issues that are met in part by the organizaing principle of the plan; residents are given a private space that is markedly separated from the common spaces.
